Established in 1872, in the city of Galle, M.C.Abdul Rahim & Bros (Pvt) Ltd. commenced operations as a stockist and wholesaler for all kinds of household ware, & catering to the needs of the retailers in the southern region of the country. In its early years although the company faced many obstacles due to the recession that followed the 1st World War, the ‘Goodwill’ created amongst its clientele, contributed and motivated it to grow and expand into the retailing sector as well.
